Amazed that they welcomed me and my flat coated retriever, absolutely made to feel at ease about having the dog in the restaurant. Service was very attentive and menu choice comprehensive- meat platter starter to share brilliant and tuna steak very generous. 241 cocktails went...More

We very much enjoyed our meal at Al Duomo, which was part of a stag do for a group of guys in their 40s-60s. The food was great and the level of service was perfect: not too much and not too little ! I can't...More

Alberto and his staff ensured our retirement party went without a hitch. The menu was a good selection for guests to choose on the night, and was personalised with a photo and only £20/head. The tables were nicely laid with white throughout, we could have...More

Popped in here for afternoon tea after an exhibition at the dome. Coffee delicious. Clotted cream and jam good. Scones were terrible, probably shop bought and from a packet. No flavour, chemical taste and a bit stale, although warmed to disguise the fact. Shame

Waitress completely forgot several of our orders, hot starters were cold and pizza bases were unpleasant- mine had a mound of weird grey cheesy dough stuff stuck under it. Stopped complaining after a while as it didn’t seem to make a difference. Used to love...More

Near the famous Pavilion in Brighton, Al Duomo is well, not quite as famous as the Pavillion itself, but it has attracted two million visitors over the past twenty-one years. A classic, family-run Neapolitan pizzeria spread over three floors, Al Duomo has an Italian menu to tempt even non-pizza lovers, if there are any. The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven, one of Britain's first. The many other favourite dishes include Lasagne Casalinga and salmone al dragoncello, cooked in butter, white wine and tarragon with tomato and cream. It's a great place for parties and groups, but absolutely everyone enjoys the delicious food, charming ambience and warm Italian welcome. Patio seating when the weather is balmy.
