A group of us went to the Camelford for its quiz night - had a fantastic time. The quiz was a hoot - just hard enough to get you wracking your brains but not so hard it excludes people. The food in this place though...More

Visited several times - the Guinness is excellent. Sunday evening was buzzing with lively atmosphere. The menu is wide ranging and the quality and quantity of food is second to none. Staff are friendly and attentive.

We went twice because it was so good (on different days, of course). Monday to Wednesday you get a meal (many choices) with drink for just 12 GBP. We can recommend the Burger and Pies.

Found this Lovely friendly pub when on holiday in Brighton with my partner back in July 2017. Nice chilled atmosphere, good friendly mix of people and welcoming staff.

I didn't book and found a table no problem, might have been lucky though! I would give them a call.

Our pub has a simple approach - to be the sort of pub we would love to go to ourselves. When we go to a pub we like a warm welcome, friendly staff, good food and fine ales / wine - so this is what we offer at The Camelford. This creates the right atmosphere from which natural friendliness takes over, and before you know it, you are chatting away with those at the next table. Also a good pub should have dogs - and we are the most dog-friendly pub n town. Don't take our word for it - ask the pooches. Our (award-winning) food is served noon-9pm Mon to Sat, and from noon till 6pm on Sundays (where our roasts are legendary). Booking is advisable, but not necessary.
