Now then, I'm only rating this on the DRINKS, as I haven't had the pleasure of tasting their deliciously mental sounding burgers yet, but I hope to next visit. First off, great old boozer, nice and welcoming staff, not too expensive drinks and brilliant alternative music playing. A great place to start your evening, as it's close to the beach... More

Enjoyed the burger as was really tasty. Bit on the messy side though as lots of sauce. Fries are lovely and homemade which is a bonus. Just the price....sorry but way too expensive! at that price the fries should be included to be honest. Please review your pricing or you are going to price people out of going there.

I tried this place out as I had heard many good things. I was sorely dissapointed! Not only on the wait time for our food was around an hour but when the burgers and chips arrived it was as though they had been sat for a while as the grease had soaked into the buns. It was a greasy mess... More

I've tried a lot of burgers all around the city but still always go back to Troll's Pantry for my favourite. Love the Hobgoblin in general but these burgers are immense and add to the atmosphere and good range of beers on tap.

I have visited The Troll's Pantry on many occasions now and the food on my most recent visit was one of the best. A great burger, made with locally sourced, organic ingredients and high welfare grass fed meat. The ethos behind The Troll's Pantry food is good and the quality of ingredients shines through, the meat is tasty and well... More

Love the burgers here, but they are extortionate and not justifiable. I ordered a burger on its own and it came to like £14 once I added cheese to it. I asked for bacon as well but that wasn't put in the burger so I thought I'd been overcharged. I hadn't - that was just the price of the burger... More

I was keen to try these burgers after reading all the great reviews which were all pretty much accurate. The burgers are fabulous, albeit expensive but that's ok as I know they use the best ingredients, all ethically sourced. The fries, at extra cost were the real rip off and not that good. The restaurant is at the back of... More

Long story short: -The burgers are of a very high quality -They're more expensive than “normal fast food” but that reflects the quality of ingredients and ethics of the owner. See it as a treat, not as a regular bite to eat. -They accommodate veggies/vegans very well -The venue doesn’t suit The Troll's Pantry -The owner needs to explicitly explain... More

I went to The Hobgoblin today for lunch, having read a favourable newspaper review. It was at peak lunchtime on a sunny day.The cavernous bar was empty-strangely empty! I asked if they were serving food and they were. Then came the shock. The menu is burgers of every description. The cheapest I could find was £8 but they went up to £12 -for a burger?But... More

Trolls Pantry were guesting at the Polygon Popup in seven Dials on Saturday which I was looking forward to as I have heard good things about them in the past. The only reason I haven't been to the Hobgoblin is because I have read there can be a lengthy wait, but that wouldn't be an issue at Polygon. Well my... More
