Not told to sit down so waited inline for drinks I did say I was drinking in. Told that I could have sat down when my drinks were ready quite a wait.😒Three other Takeouts for coffee were served before my order that came in after my order. Shame as coffee and tea was excellent. Unlikely to return as so much... More

It is a hipster spot but that aside the coffee is phenomenal! It find myself trying to pass by almost daily for a flat white treat. Its always very busy, which means the queue can be a pain but its worth the wait!

Popped in for the first time this morning for a takeaway. Had a delicious mint tea and Americano. Took around 4 mins, staff friendly. Will visit again

Our first trip to the small batch coffee company was great. We had a syphon coffee (being big coffee geeks) we enjoyed watching it being made, was a great shop with good atmosphere. On the following day we returned, we were left dissapointed at the latte art we were presented + the dull watery taste of the coffee - the... More

Where to start. I happened upon this place last summer and wandered in. They were slow to ask me what I wanted, and then I got told off for not knowing that I had to move from the till to the delivery of beverage point 2 feet away Starbucks stylee. Today a friend asked me to meet in there and... More

Hi there Thanks for your feedback regarding Small Batch Coffee. I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience. The reason that we have had to put locks on the doors at our Sevendials & Norfolk Square shops is that we were having trouble with people coming in and using the toilets for illegal purposes and leaving them in a... I have been coming to various Small Batch cafes for a number of years and still love the coffee and the friendly staff also the surroundings but the food has changed a lot and sorry to say not for better.I will happily pay for good food (Bring back Flour pot bakery please !) and a decent portion. probably one of the best coffees ive had. Staff not that bad, although not that friendly, a good range of coffees on offer in a warm and comforting atmosphere. Seating available outside too.

Went again today and in fact had an Earl Grey tea (good), but realised how uncomfortable the chair/stools are! Ones outside that are lower may we'll be better, but it was too cold!

They charge extra for soy so I would not recommend especially if you're vegan or lactose intolerant. Whatever excuse they give I know for a fact they can not charge for soy and still make a profit so its just so mean they do. Save your money for other independent coffee places that don't charge extra like Glazed Coffee. Small... More

Hi there The reason that we charge extra for soy is that we buy very expensive Bonsoy soy milk (after extensive research with lots of cheaper, lower grade alternatives). We found that this brand complements our coffee better than any other and we're not prepared to compromise on that quality. The 30p charge for soy doesn't fully cover the extra... More

If you enjoy good coffee, you must come here. I live in Sydney and have been on a business trip, struggling with the likes of Costa and Starbucks. This is genuinely great coffee, made with care and love for what makes a good coffee. Will definitely be back!!
