The pub looks really cool, has a good English pub feel to it. Food was typical pub grub, which I love - but have had so much better. The thing that really let it down was the service. The girl at the bar was way more interested in chatting to friends than taking our order. An ok night but I... More

This pub is always packed and a fun place to go for a pint or glass of wine on a night out. At weekends the place is buzzing and packed right outside especially on Paddy's day. Pop in if you want to enjoy a lively atmosphere in the heart of Brighton.

A large group visited this pub for lunch. The menu was very good and varied and half portion orders were available - there was "something for everyone" including vegetarian. The food was really good and freshly made. Prices were good. We were offered a private room for our group, but above all, the service was excellent and the staff very... More

Good pub grub. Wasn't really expecting much on a Saturday lunch time. Thought it would be rammed with people getting smashed but it was rather pleasant. The pub was busy but got food on time, atmosphere was fine, got rowdier as the day went on but it is central brighton. Would even go for lunch again.

This is a nice cosy pub. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but we were still able to get a seat for our group of three after a little while. We really liked the music.

Pub quiet, not surprising even though reviews seem good. Nice cosy pub but as visitors to the area didn't really feel welcomed - no staff 'engagement'. "Can I open a table" yes if you leave a card behind the bar - I don't think so.... you want me to trust you but you don't trust me??! G&T and a flat... More

Great pub, with good pub food. The pub was very busy but our food came up quickly and was perfect. They have a good selection of beers too.

A fair choice of local ales, an old fashioned panelled interior and a real fire on a cold afternoon. Take a break from the multitude of jewellers shops and have a stop here.
