Absolutely love this place, the menu is mostly French - Cheese boards to die for and an unbelievable raclette on a Sunday as an alternative to the rather often, somewhat dull traditional roasts everywhere else. They fully cater for vegetarians and often have creative pop ups serving vegan and vegetarian delights. Wonderful French wines and excellent beers on tap (including... More

What a lovely lunch we enjoyed here. The raclette was superb and so much of it...it had been prepared with love! The wines and beers were great and the team very friendly and helpful. A great experience and a great change from roast chicken!!

Counter pub with reasonable atmosphere if a little expensive for this area. Near seven dials with a selection of beers and wines. Guinness was £4.40 a pint which is a little steep. Bar was full of very loud regulars so won't be coming back.

Fantastic raclette lunch. Very generous and authentic! Would thoroughly recommend skipping the roast!

After having moved back to Hove recently I have frequented the French horn a number of times and all have proved a great night. Friendly staff and a nice venue with great food - would definitely recommend.

Pretentious, snob and no class. Bland atmosphere with even blander decor. Rather pricey, I would really avoid it as a romantic outing, it's not.

Dear RoquetQueen, We're sorry that your visit here was not up to your expectations. We are primarily a "boozer" community pub with an authentic selection of home-made French & English pub fare adapted for the boozer atmosphere. Our prices are lower than all other pubs around seven-dials. I hope you find the romantic venue you're looking for. With regards, The... More

My Brighton friends took me to this fantastic pub. The atmosphere is great. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bloody Mary I had was perfect. The food is delicious and the menu is varied. Would recommend it for a good night out.

I've never eaten here but I go here fairly often with friends to have drinks. There is a lively atmosphere but it's never too busy that you can't have a conversation. Staff are what make the place, absolutely lovely people.

Lovely pub with friendly staff. Went there on a Sunday and got the Raclette. They just kept bringing out food! Absolutely fantastic, with authentic French produce. I could barely move afterwards. A fantastic alternative to a Sunday roast.

Visited last night and had a lovely meal. The owner/chef came to our table to discuss ingredients and effectively produced a bespoke meal for my daughter. Perfectly charming and dog friendly.
