A fantastically located Cafe anytime of the year as long as it's not raining. £4.25 for a lovely toasted soft bap, with runny egg and two pieces of bacon, with a free hot drink too if it's before 12.00 It's a favourite of ours, bang on the beach, with a choice of breakfasts and other food too (AVOID THE FISH... We wanted to find a coffee and cake so one of my local friends chose this place. Its fine if you want a quick refreshment. We stopped here for a coffee. The cakes looked tasty but when I ordered one, I was offered one wrapped in clingfilm. Its a busy cafe when the sunshine is out.

Great place for a bacon sandwich and a coffee, but beware the wind. All seating is outside and although there are windbreaks they are no protection from the rain. Seagulls are a constant menace so hang on to your food!

Perfect spot right on the beach and always good for a cuppa and a toasted sarnie. An institution on the Brighton/Hove border. Gluten-free bread and cakes available which is a great touch. Great place to meet friends and to watch the world go by and my first stop after an early morning swim.

Let me start by saying I have always used this cafe when walking along the sea front for food and drink, of which the quality is usually ok, nice cakes too. Staff can be quite curt but push it to one side. Until today! The lady serving at the till looked miserable, was short with me and unfriendly to say... More

Excellent location and always a very busy café. Friendliness of staff can vary. Food is average but ok. Nice toasted sandwiches.

This place is situated perfectly on the seafront, on the border between Brighton and Hove. We chose to go here purely because of the ideal spot looking over the sea. However, the food is very average/just another greasy spoons café. We had an egg & sausage sandwich and a latté for under £4 which is very reasonable. In short -... More

We enjoy parking in Hove and walking along the prom into Brighton. This place is at the start of the interesting parts and has somehow got permission to have tables right next to the sea. My wife and I shared a bacon bap and a sausage and egg bap for a late breakfast and both were fine as were our... More

We had the unfortunate experience of visiting this cafe today. We had travelled from London with our 3 children for a day at the beach. We all wanted Fish and Chips. I ordered Cod and Chips for everyone. They turned out to be the most disgusting fish and chips we had ever had. The fish was thin and grey, the... More
