Not a bad pub, food not amazing but did the job.. Reason for the poor review.. staff simply are not trained. Had to Re cap my order over and over. The barmaid kept getting wrong, we asked for "no peas" with a meal and apparently "the till won't let me"! Took 3 barmaids to process my order! Train staff properly!!... More

Been here a few times now for breakfast, it's good value, tastes nice, and consistent. The traditional English is bacon, sausage, hash browns, beans, egg and tomato with toast for under a fiver. The tea is not great and costs another £1.80 This weatherspoons has the advantage of outdoor seating area and large window over looking the marina. The loos... More

We've been coming here for years for breakfast and what can I say? Typical English breakfast which is quite cheap, nice feel to it especially in summer.

Visited here after a walk around the deserted Marina and found where everyone was! This is a busy pub on a number of levels with large open windows looking over the Marina and out to sea - oh sorry that was the old pub. The pub now looks onto some massive tower block with expensive apartments for sale which is... More

Really busy when we visited, staff were really friendly, food was the usual food for this type if pub. Service was quick. We visited at 8pm. The tables, floors and general surroundings appeared tatty and not very clean.

My partner and I ordered our usual wetherspoons breakfasts, but my fried eggs were stone cold. Much worse was the long black hair on my partner's mushroom, looked cooked into it, which was definitely not either of ours. This shouldn't be allowed to happen if proper hygiene practices are in place. They're clearly not here. Disgusting and won't be back

good selection of beers, reasonable food at a reasonable price but at busy times can be a struggle to get served when all you want is a pint

It is what it is, if you don't want to spend a fortune in some of the other branded restaurants, Go to a Weatherspoons, had fish & chips x2 and 4 drinks and got change out of a twenty.

Went to this place. Had to wait and hour for food, for it to turn up cold. They took food back, then another half hour for it to come out cold again. Made a complaint on the say which was almost ignored, so write to the witherspoons head office who didn't even offer our money back the bill was £50... More
