From the moment I walked in the "Horse with no name" was playing and having been in a desert with a horse with no name, it chimed with me. Once I had spoken to young Adam I new this would be a place to enjoy....More

If a good midweek steak with a Havana rum rum and a wobbly walk home home isn't your thing then don't bother if you enjoy the finer things in life like that and amazing bar staff and good music, get down on a Thursday. Boom

Feeling compelled to comment on my recent experience at the Preston Park Tavern... My three children took me there for a birthday celebration meal...and it turned out to be one of our most memorable family occasions. We arrived at 7.30 on Friday evening and the...More

Fantastic service, great food and great bar staff (especially George). 👐🏼 The chicken and the falafel burgers were top notch, definitely recommend!

We ate at the Preston Park Tavern this week, and I ordered the catch of the day. It was one tiny sea bream fillet and six very small slices of sauteed potato. It had a lovely remoulade with it and the sauces were very tasty....More

As an Aussie visiting good friends in Brighton, just had a great night at PPT. Terrific food, exceptional & prompt service, good range of craft beers & ciders and easy, friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. Dog friendly too. Well worth a visit if you're down...More

We live locally and avoid the pub at all costs every weekend as it is overrun with unruly children. Parents simply don't care about their children's behaviour and the effect this has on other people. No regard whatsoever. We went on Monday night for a...More

Good fish and chips. Attentive, engaging staff. Sunshine. Does it get any better than this in England?

Went up here on a Saturday afternoon, thought I had walked into a crèche, small loud children everywhere, screaming and running around, this is not a pub. I don't go to pubs to have to endure other people's kids, the place was chaos, turned around...More

This pub used to be such a great venue for lunch, serving delicious food. But those days are long gone. My mum lives locally, so we've tried it twice recently and both times were hugely disappointed. We won't be going back. And judging by how...More

Locals and foodies mix in this delightfully bright and cheerful family-friendly food pub – a hidden gem, which has remained busy and buzzy since it opened six years ago. Something of a local institution, this fabulous pub serves good honest food, prepared with skill and passion. Beautifully prepared roast meals are served on Sundays from 12 to 6pm. With superb Sussex reared meats, a vegetarian and fish option as well as small portions for children, it’s hard to find a reason not to visit.
