Just visitied this lovely restaurant tonight which we decided to visit based on the trip advisor reviews. The food was delicious and authentic and the staff was very attentive and witty. I would definatley recommend this restaurant to family and friends and I can see why so many people love it here. Thank you

Booked this restaurant based on the many reviews and was not disappointed. Grabbed a bottle of wine from local Waitrose, no corkage. Food delicious. Both the lamb special and tagine excellent. Restaurant busy on a Thursday evening. Had great conversation and banter with the manager. Thoroughly recommended 👍

We visited here last Saturday evening as a party of 4. We were made to feel very welcome and indeed throughout the evening the service was very good. We ordered the vegetarian mixed starters which were very tasty and great variety but - the plate was huge and more than we expected. We had 2 veggie mains and 2 chicken... More

I had arranged a birthday meal for a friend and invited about 20 people. They were so accommodating to the whole group, allowing a couple of people to eat off the set menu due to dietary requirements. The food was so lovely, and the staff so friendly from start to finish! I would 100% recommend this place for any occasion... More

Me and my girlfriend paid a visit in the January, because we wanted to try some african cuisine. I can't remember what I had for lunch but it was something with lamb and my gf ordered something else with chicken (forgive me I can't remember the names). Both were amazing, very well cooked and warm. We also like the sausages... More

Being Turkish, the flavours took me home. The meat in my okra dish was incredibly soft and tasty. Very well done saffron rice. The music was quite nice. We were there mid winter and were the only ones there for lunch, and it was very cold. But they didn't use heating even after we asked, which made us bit cranky,... More

Was a total surprise as we booked this last minute for Christmas Day. The restaurant was completely charming and the food was lovely. We enjoyed it very much and will be returning in the future.

Stumble across this gem on here and booked a table for a nice meal on our night away. It did not disappoint! BYO for drinks which was great and no corkage 👍🏻. The food was amazing - lamb tagine just melted in your mouth & the mixed starter was a great way to sample the great Moroccan food on offer!... More

I went here with a group of friends. I liked the meze for two. Nice ambience and morrocan decorations. Service was good and they allow you to byo wine. My main was disappointing. I ordered a chicken curry type dish and the sauce was to sweet for my taste. I would go again but next time will go for a... More

A Lebanese and Persian restaurant on Brightons busy Western Road, Taste of Sahara gives seaside dwellers a taste of the exotic at a very reasonable price. With its dcor created with care to reflect the atypical Middle East of story books and holiday brochures all pierced tin lanterns, heavy wood and rich colours Taste of Sahara has a look which reflects the diverse flavours of its immensely flavourful menu. From kebabs to tagines, all ones Middle Eastern favourites are offered by the Sahara kitchen, along with some lesser known dishes that will tempt the more adventurous diner. In particular, the restaurants mezzes prove popular, the sharing concept somehow suited to this kind of cuisine, particularly when accompanied by the BYO policy.
