Believe me, this place is magical from the moment you walk in. I came with my girlfriend just after New Year's Eve and we found this beautiful pub on the corner of one of the lanes in Brighton and thought why not? It's perfect for any occasion whether you're with your partner sitting by the real fire place which they... More

Considering this is the middle of the tourist area this is still a great pub in the winter (warm atmosphere and really friendly service). A bit less of a summer pub - in too much light it looks a bit spit and sawdust. Sunday roast had about 20 times over the last few years and never been anything other than... More

The staff were friendly, attentive, humorous and overall enhanced the visit. They should be credited for the success of this pub. The location is quaint and is in a lovely busy area of the city. The pub is cosy. There is lots of choice of drinks, offering a good range of real ales and spirits. The staff really know about... More

Positioned in a nice location in the middle of the Lanes. Quite a quiet pub so would recommend if you'd prefer that to somewhere livelier like Yates or whetherspoons. Drinks prices were what you'd expect from a quiet pub, not cheap but not overly expensive. Staff were nice, would recommend :)

Attentive but not overbearing staff who know how to work a bar; excellent service. Tasty, unpretentious, food. Warm and welcoming surroundings, especially cosy with the fire lit.

Our visit to this pub was made all the more enjoyable by the friendly and excellent service of the barman Chris! He came and chatted, have stories and had conversations making us feel like locals.

However popular the North Laine becomes, the heart of Brighton will always remain The Lanes themselves. There are plenty of pubs among the twisting narrow streets, but none is as well known as the Bath Arms, which enjoys a reputation among tourists and locals alike as THE pub of The Lanes.
