I used to go to English's for a special meal years ago and I was SO disappointed when I went a couple of weeks' ago. It looks the same but the food is in no way the quality it used to be. The desserts are...More

Nice restaurant, with good food, but indeed when you seat at the table, look at the menu and related prices, you might expect more... At the end you cannot say anything bad, but even nothing really good

Went for lunch, had a seat in the shade but moved to a table in the sunshine, much better. Good selection of seafood. Service staff were very professional and attentive when needed. Food was very well presented and extremely tasty. Fish was fresh, and cooked...More

A quirky place, we were seated upstairs, where there seemed to be more than one room. We had the sharing platter to start which was without doubt one of the best seafood dishes I have ever eaten, plus it included the foie gras paye which...More

A very nice place, in a good location. We sat outside and enjoyed the music of one of the local buskers. The steak and the lobster were both very good and the service was pleasant and efficient. The only down side were the smokers, encouraged...More

We had arrived looking for a late lunch. We were greeted by nice friendly waiters. Chose Moules Frites with a carafe of very nice Sauvignon Blanc. Altogether lovely experience. Would recommend & look forward to eating here again if we are ever back in Brighton.

Booked this from TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. We went for the set menu which was excellent value for money and were served one of the best meals we've had in a while. Food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Waiting staff were a...More
