The best thing about this cafe is Carole, always there, always friendly, always smiling... It should be called Carole’s.

I went into the Hendover café (not too sure how long since the name change from Paninis) but some of the décor has been done along with the history of the name on the tables - called in for a nice cup of tea with...More
Hello Ann, Thank you for your review and very happy that you and your friends and of course your pooch enjoyed your visit and we look forward to seeing you next time. Paul and the staff
Only stopped in for a mid-morning pot of tea. Service very good and everywhere, including the toilet, very clean. Quite refreshing in these days of fast food outlets that don't seem to care.
Thank you for taking the time to review us and glad you enjoyed your visit, takes allot of hard work to keep the toilets up to standard and not many people mention it so thank you Paul and the staff.
We'd been in Dorchester on Sunday morning and, having passed the cafe before, we decided to call in and have the Sunday Roast. It was as good a decision as we've made in a long time! Paul and his very friendly staff provided us with...More
Hello Upton, Thank you for your lovely review and sorry it has taken me so long to acknowledge it. We are glad you enjoyed your roast and puds and we look forward to seeing you again. Paul and staff
A visit for breakfast in one of the few places in Dorchester that serve late breakfasts/brunches. Food was fantastic and really enjoyed the home made ketchup and brown Sauce...they really complimented a hearty and substantial breakfast.
Hi Derek, Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your breakfast and we are in the process of bottling both sauces so you can take some home next time you visit. Thanks Paul
Popped in with a friend on Saturday afternoon, enjoyed a coffee which came with a free homemade biscuit. I also had a delicious homemade carrot cake - don't usually eat cakes but saw someone else have one and I couldn't resist as it looked so...More
Thank you Sandra, You sure polished off that cake quick for someone not used to having cake :-) Paul
We came for lunch at Hendover Cafe and enjoyed the food greatly. Barry had the special canneloni and garlic bread, and mixed leaves, and I had pate and brown toast with salad garnish. We both chose apple juice, and everything was very well presented and...More

Popped in for breakfast on Wed and had the cheese & bacon sandwich, having been served one with cold grated cheese earlier in the week at another establishment we were both keen to ensure that this time we had a ' proper' C&B sandwich (Stoke...More

Dog friendly (he got a little bowl of sausages). Very well priced lovely standard breakfast fair with wonderfully friendly waiting staff.
Thank you Matthew, hope to see you and the pooch again soon woof
We had a lovely breakfast here and the dogs were given some sausage as a house treat. We felt welcomed and valued.
