Twenty eight walkers pre ordered lunch at this pub, then went for a two hour ramble arriving back to find a lovely warm welcome with our food already for us. From the moment we walked through the door the service and food was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Just spent the weekend at this gorgeous pub where we were made very welcome by Leanne and Ben. The bedroom accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast - very generous portions! We ate in the pub on both evenings, and this didn't fail to disappoint. The moules were the best I've ever had. Such a pretty setting with stream running... More

Delightful staff, great food, a friendly happy atmosphere. I would be tempted to live in any village that had a pub like this - though as it is, Martinstown looks perfect!

Really great pub set next to a beautiful little stream. Took four generations of my family for a Sunday roast and everyone really enjoyed it. Good portion sizes and really good price. The beer garden is a sun trap, so will definitely pop down in the summer

My husband, 6 yr old daughter and I visited this lovely pub tonight for dinner whilst on holiday in Dorset. We had never been before so didn't know what to expect and we were very pleased. Our dinner was delicious, I chose the steak (cooked to perfection) and my husband decided to partake in the curry night - very good... More

We had 18 people booked in for a surprise Birthday Sunday lunch, which I had popped around the day before with decorations and a Birthday cake. We arrived to a decorated long table in the restaurant area already for when people people arrived at the bar for drinks and then to sit down. We all ordered our meals, most chose... More
