A little off the beaten track, this pub is quite a gem. It has a quaint elegance and serves a wide range of beers and tasty food.

5 stars for the beer - good selection well kept. Maybe 2 stars for the food - mainly average, but avoid the goat curry which was flavourless

Called in here prior to see Bob Dylan at the local concert hall. Lovely food. Lovely beer, but what impressed me the most was the efficient staff who went about their tasks with smiles on their faces. Highly recommended.

Typical, British Pub serving a great range of Ales and some very good food. We had the Goat Curry and something else (memory fails me), both of which were really tasty, and good value. Would go again

No. No tv. however if you go to the end of the rd. turn left as you leave the pub facing outward, they have many screens. sorry can't remember the name.
