Great place to stop at for a tea and cake or a famous cream tea. Lovely surroundings right on top of the harbour so you have a great view as you enjoy your tea. Staff look after you really well.

We have visited Torquay many times and I do not know how we have managed to miss this place. A cheery welcome, efficient service and a lovely cup of tea. My husband had the toasted teacake and I could smell the cinnamon from the opposite side of the table, it looked lovely and was told it tasted great. The chocolate... More

After getting drenched while walking around the harbour, we stopped in here for a coffee. We liked it so much we spent a good couple of hours in the armchairs enjoying tea and scones with clotted cream. The warm fruit scones were delicious- maybe a little more jam provided but yummy all the same. Will definitely return!

Chose to have a coffee here as the restaurant was very appealing. We certainly enjoyed our coffees in a relaxed setting. The cost was reasonable and we will definitely return.

This place is a delight. We enjoyed beautiful sandwiches of cheese and another of tuna - lovely hand cut fresh bread with a tasty dressed salad satisfied the needs of two hungry guys. Service was friendly and the place is spotless - reading other recent reviews on this site do not reflect at all on my visit.

Went for lunch in early October. The cafe was lovely and clean and tidy Ordered Ploughmans (£8) and Soup of the day. Portion size very very disappointed - Ploughmans menu stated pork pie, pickled onions, ham, cheese, salad and bread. Well porkpie was half a MINI pork pie - pickled onions were 5 'silver onions'. Ham - just one slice... More

Popped in for a cup of tea and a cake. My wife has a slight nut allergy so when ordering she asked if the carrot cake was nut free, yes she was informed it was. Upon arrival at our table it was clearly obvious that it was not nut free as it had nuts on top. My cherry bakewell tart... More
