The scones were very light and delicate. Possibly the best scones I've tried even nicer than the ones we offer in our hotel for afternoon tea.

We popped in for a spot of afternoon tea. Beautiful little spot so cute and the food was lush and the fresh tea mmmm. Fantastic price too 💖

Was walking past this cafe as normal as I wouldn't dream of going in due its tired appearance when we spotted the gluten free sign. What a find! A full menu covering a wide choice of foods which you never find!! My husband was very impressed. All I need now is a dairy free equivalent!

Unable to choose from the cheese scones and the fruit, chocolate or plain we had a selection of both. The farmers tea was with a wonderful relish which you could buy in the cafe, cream cheese and warm cheese scone yummy! Next the fruit scone cream and jam also warm, my friend had the double chocolate scone again really delicious.

Great prices, especially for children. Loved the scones - they were so fresh. Friendly service. Plenty of choice and some seating to enjoy outside on a sunny day.

We had a light lunch on our first day in Torquay in this quirky little tea room. Food was very nice, home made and service was very good with friendly staff. They use loose tea which always makes a difference. Definitely recommend.

Can't recommend The Singing Kettle enough! Each time we are in the area, we'll now always pay a visit to this brilliant tea room. The food is great, the setting perfect and the staff friendly and welcoming. I can recommend the full vegetarian breakfast: have that at 10am and you won't feel peckish until tea time. Definitely 5/5 - excellent.

A very nice tea room. The scones were baked especially for us so were lovely and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite few items on the menu we would have liked and hope to visit it again.

We came here for a mid-afternoon cream tea in February, so understandably it wasn't really busy. Service was good and all of the staff that were working were very friendly. Both of us had cream tea - scones were good and served with cream and jam. Tea is proper loose-leaf tea and served with strainers. Decor is a little out-dated,... More

We have walked past this place for years on visits to Torquay and never thought it was open, but this year it looked more alive and so we went in. Super home made food, friendly service and good prices. We had a tasty light meal and will be going back for a cream tea, which looked delicious. Whether for a... More
