The food, ambience and staff are of a high quality. A lovely, quaint building. Both in a party and with a few friends, it never disappoints!

Around 50 of us had our work Christmas Meal here on Friday. For me personally I thought the food was lovely. Perfect portion sizes, well presented, tasty, cooked well. The service was good, especially considering the size of our party. Some felt the portion sizes...More

This restaurant located in very pleasant old building. However the atmosphere is very chilled and unwelcoming. First impression as we entered ,we were shown to our table but that was as far as it went. No pleasant greeting, no offer to take our coats, I...More

Having heard good reviews of the mission we decided to have a family get together at the venue. Friendly service at first and the waiter was very helpful. The starters were presented well, but personally I felt the terrine lacked seasoning and toast inedible ,...More

This is a really nice restaurant with attentive waiting staff serving good food. I had pork belly and my husband had a steak. Nice ambience inside.

Visiting my son at uni (Nov 17) and chose The Mission as not been before. The service was exceptional - speed of serving, extreme politeness and overt efforts to please us - we had ordered olives as a nibble for my son - I'm not...More

Sorry it has taken so long to put up my review. First visit to The Mission as I fancied finding a new favourite place. You know how it is, you have that place that you save for special occasions and it becomes a bit boring...More

A really nice restaurant. The pre theatre menu (meaning get there before 6 and leave before 7:15) was outstanding value for money. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Loved the surroundings of an old chapel with the stained glass windows.

Food and service was lovely. The building was lovely and even had some history behind it being set in an old church. I thought prices were slightly expensive but family insisted they were regular for restaurants now. Very much enjoyed it!
