Such a shame that the service in this is place is horrendously slow. Massive queues on a nice day and they just plod along. Food came out in a reasonable time, with no cutlery. Asked if we get our own and the lady said she would get it for us. About 5 minutes later she came back with it. Just... More

On an unexpectedly warm and sunny afternoon in March, we found the Terrace on Plymouth Hoe with a spectacular view of the Sound and a delicious crab dish that we all enjoyed while soaking up the sun. Nothing pretentious here but extremely popular and with good reason.

After ordering a bacon and egg roll and a cappuccino I was charged over £7 then I occurred a £1 charge to pay by debit card. For a cafe that only has outdoor seating these prices seem a little steep. I'm sad because this is my favourite cafe along the hoe but the prices mean I won't be coming back.

The Terrace is a wonderful place to sit, relax and enjoy the stunning views of Plymouth's natural harbour. It's a hidden gem just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city where you'll receive a warm welcome from the staff.

My partner and I took shelter here for an English breakfast at the weekend. Despite the cold, wet and wind the staff only had one cover over the seating area. The cook was very friendly and served our excellent breakfasts. We'll return again in better weather conditions ☔️

Great lunch time stop off..we had x2 Panini and some cake, lovely location to enjoy the view and take in the fresh air. Prices a bit high for what you get but the service was friendly and it all tasted great. We'll be back!

We visited here again, this time in October, for a family breakfast. Generally there's always space on this large terrace and the choice is good. Coffee is served straightaway and the wait for cooked breakfast was really no time at all. Food was good. A recommendation for an open-air breakfast with a view (weather permitting).

That's it for me. The last straw was the pathetic Bacon,Brie with Cranberry Pannini more a jam sandwich, you would need a large magnifying glass to see the Brie. The quality/quantity/care is certainly not reflected in the prices they charge. I know the view is good but its always the food comes first. Asked for crispy bacon but the staff... More

Nice breakfast. Shame about the rain as view would of been nice. It is what you see. Not bad value for money.

Been a daytime snack bar built into old cliff face. Now advertising widely as offering full meals with new chef and open till late evening. A novelty facility in this area. Mixed reports of the food and the weather proofing. Needs comments.
