We stumbled across Charlie Friday's on a freezing cold and wet Tuesday and couldn't believe our luck when we saw how beautiful it was inside. It was a real treasure trove , it felt so warm and welcoming I could have sat there all day. Charlie Friday's does a range of teas, coffees, milkshakes and other drinks, delish cakes and... More

What a lovely, quirky little cafe, slightly hidden away but well worth hunting out - it puts all the other coffee shops to shame (and that's only the outside impression!). Friendly service, well laid out inside, again quite quirky and quaint. Great range of food and drinks on the menu and one the board. We had the chocolate cream tea!... More

On a damp and blustery February day in North Devon, Charlie Fridays provided a welcoming oasis of calm. The prices are sensible and the coffee was delicious. Even the toilet facilities were good ! Well worth a visit, although I suspect it could get very busy at more popular times of year.

We made it first visit to Charlie Fridays this week, and our second. The cakes were delicious, the ambiance relaxed, chic and interesting, the staff friendly and the coffee Devine. We took our 7 month son and were made to feel very welcome. The decor has an individual boho feel but very cool vibe as well. The cake was exceptional,... More

The drinks are pretty okay for the price and it's also a cozy place. But the food is pretty bad. we ordered scotch eggs and they just microwaved it and served it. It was clear from the over cooked, mushy and watery outer sausage coating and very hard egg that it wasn't freshly made as it was written on the... More

Found this by wandering through Lyndon and dropped in on New Years Eve for coffee and cake. The place was full but a lovely couple freed up a larger table for the 5 of us. The staff are great, really friendly and the atmosphere is tremendous. Lots of games lying around to while away the time whilst you eat and... More
