We found this restaurant through tripadvisor and as the reviews were very good, we decided to give it a go. The menu was really different, not your everyday indian food found in every other restaurant. When the food arrived it was really great and thankfully not bright orange, it was nice to see indian food the colour it should be.... More

I needed to organise food for 18 people on a day with tight time schedules, we only had an hour to spare for food - the restaurant took our orders in advance, had everything ready to serve just after arrival, and the food and service was excellent. No reason not to give 5 stars.

I was in the area on business and ate here on my own, as the title says it was a mistake. I read all the reviews before visiting and they sounded positive but my experience was far from it. Firstly I ordered poppadoms and pickles, they arrived but the "home made" pickles were simply inedible, one was mushed up dates... More

Moved down from London and hunted for gems. This place is so great, the food is just so good. Especially the Appams which I hadn't had before but my expert friends said were of the highest quality. I am now addicted. Environment is totally laid back and unassuming.

This restaurant was recommended to us but it turned out to be the worst Indian meal we have eaten for several years! The vegetable korma was absolutely tasteless and the lamb curry consisted of several pieces of meat surrounded by what appeared to be soup.

A second visit to the Curry Leaf for my parter and I, as wonderful if not better than two years ago. Amazing food fresh, vibrant flavours the balance of spices are remarkable. With out doubt the best Indian I have ever eaten. Service is attentive and happy to help if you are not sure what to order

Brilliant Indian food - this place has won awards but wanted to try it myself- decor very simple and average and from the outside I wasn't sure- but ignore everything else and enjoy the food!
