We called in as Cosy Club were fully booked for breakfast at 10:00 on Mother's Day! It was quite busy but were quickly given a table. Due to the amount of people our breakfast did take 40 mins to arrive - but we were in no hurry. Breakfast good and tasty.

I visited here with my disabled Mother for lunch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us from the moment we entered the building. They were particularly helpfuul to my Mum, even offering to help her up the stairs. Thank you to you all, she left smiling. The food was great, simple, fresh and delicious.

We called in here for a light lunch while in Exeter shopping. The menu is very nice and has plenty of choice. If you want a cream tea you have to wait until after 2.30pm as thats when the FRESH scones come out of the oven.

Went there with my son on Sunday. He had the Sunday roast beef and I had the Sunday roast chicken. The chicken was rough but the beef and the Yorkshire pudding was excellent. I had the lapsang tea and the quality of the tea is very good. If THE weather is good, you can also sit outside to overlook the... More

We have taken lunch here before, and as on this trip from Yorkshire to Cornwall we wanted to divert off the M5 to check it out again following the Royal Clarence fire which caused so much disruption. The view was very different with great big cranes working just outside. However, it was interesting and not at all distracting from our... More

Went here recently with a friend; very cute little place tucked away behind the cathedral. Food and coffees were both lovely, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming too.

Had lunch here in early March sitting outside in the sunshine. Friendly licensed café with good service and varied menu with choice of light snacks or full meals. The food was very tasty. Highly recommended.

Been here many times and usually for breakfast - just love the Bubble & Squeak which has all the breakfast ingredients in it!

We are a daytime cafe with lovely views of Exeter Cathedral and the green. We have outdoor seating and seating on two floors inside. Open for breakfast, lunch, Sunday Roasts, and afternoon teas, we source from local, small suppliers as it's good for the environment and the food tastes better. Our coffee is excellent, our choice of teas extensive (no teabags here), and wines, beers, ciders, and lagers produced by small, local family businesses. Open 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sundays. This is an independent, owner operated cafe. We give 1% of our profits to Medecins sans Frontieres. Cream Teas are served from 230pm (We recognise that not serving cream teas at lunchtime is not a popular policy and admit we do this partly for economic reasons. Better to be up front and honest about it!). We are generally a daytime only restaurant, but we open in the evenings during graduation week, on Fridays in the summer, and for private functions (please phone us if you are interested)
