Not for the first time when in Dartmouth we went for breakfast here, this time with our 19 month old son. The service was great, the coffee lovely and the pastries a paragon of buttery goodness (badness?). I had to have the chocolate and almond croissant as it looked so good and it felt naughty all the way through -... More

Seem to run out of time during our visit to Dartmouth so only had time for a coffee and pastry. Of course these were excellent.

Well, we finally made it....having seen the owner, Julian, make his artisan products on the internet this visit was much anticipated and was not a regret...my only regret was waiting so long. The bread is, without a doubt, French....it is superb, and my French wife could not believe the memories this bought 'it's like childhood france', that's a serious compliment.... More

Another great lunch. Tasty, freshly prepared sandwiches and omelette, and some of the beautiful cakes from the patisserie counter. Welcoming staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and dog friendly.

Decided to start the day with a bit of brecky and enjoyed their French breakfast and scrambled eggs with bacon and a range of bread (there were two of us, not just me pigging out). Both very enjoyable and an opportunity to try bread not normally found on our table. Something I would change is the way the butter is... More

We only popped in for a coffeee but were amazed at what was on offer at this very French establishment. Whether it be hand- made bread and pastries or perfect Pizza and a choice of individual chocolates its not a place to miss

Oh yum! We walked past in the mizzle and drizzle and doubled back because the aroma of the French onion soup emanating from the door was too much to bear! A hearty, warming bowl of the special soup of the day - French onion soup with melted cheese garlic croutons bobbing about in the centre of the bowl - did... More

We stayed locally off Victoria place for a few days. Walking past most mornings to venture out and about. Each day the bakery was not busy but thriving with fresh breads, pastries and the locals popping in out out for their essentials. We decided breakfast here would be a must before we departed. There was a lovely quiet bustle about... More
