Called in for mid morning Drinks, ( 5 adults ) a cosy tea room, china cups, white and brown sugar lumps and the " Pierre de resistance " real tea in a teapot and a strainer. We did not eat, but having read the very accomplished menu we will be returning.

We stopped in for a lateish lunch/earlyish tea at The Singing Kettle today. My wife had a cream tea and I went for a prawn sandwich. The cream tea comprised two large fruit scones, an ample amount of clotted cream and strawberry jam, adorned with fresh fruit, strawberries, grapes, kiwi fruit and slices of orange. This was reported to be... More

On a day trip to Dartmouth were looking for a bite to eat at lunchtime. We saw this tea room and thought we would give it a try, our dog was also welcome which was a bonus for us. Inside was lovely with candles and fresh flowers on the tables which made it look cosy and welcoming. Lunch was very... More

A small, well-run establishment with a warm welcome from the host. On this occasion we just had mushroom soup, which was delicious.
