Such a shame that the lady bar manager had a massive attitude problem. Clearly couldn't cope with being busy, was rude, unhelpful and completely unreasonable (unlike the other, wonderful staff). Especially cutting after I'd brought a tray full of empties back to the bar from...More

We have been going to this pub for years, it is always a lovely place to eat and drink, with fabulous views looking out over the sand and rocks towards the sea. I have loved visiting this pub, and the reason it only gets an...More

Popped in as very disappointed with the offering on Port Isaac. Even here before. Parking had changed but we still managed to find somewhere, it was pouring with rain which helped. Food was excellent, had the dressed crab and the beetroot salad. Both were plentiful...More

Thank you Nataliano for your 5* review. Unfortunately our car park has started to disappear into the sea so this is something that we cannot fix, however we are looking into a 'voucher' which will give you some free parking into the nearby car park....More

This was a great place for dinner, and just a short 10min drive from Tintagel (where nothing much seems to be happening in the evening!). We had the fish of the day and mussels - both fresh and delicious!

During a four day visit to the area we visited on two occasions. The food, especially the sea food board to share, is very good, the staff efficient and friendly and the views are fantastic. The weather was good and therefore the outside area was...More

This is a great place to visit after a lovely walk on the coastal path or a walk along Trebarwith strand. Commanding stunning views over the strand and beyond, you can enjoy a meal or a drink outside on the huge patio, or if the...More

This place is well worth the scary roads and parking down the road then having to walk to the pub. The main reason for visiting was the amazing views, we sat outside and watched the sea go out revealing an amazing beach full of swimmers...More

The Port William Inn at Trebarwith Strand, near Tintagel, is a wonderful pub and restaurant on the North Cornwall coast, renowned for excellent pub food and a comfortable welcoming bar. There is also 4 star accommodation, with all 8 hotel rooms having a very high standard of finish and superb sea views, down to the sea and the dramatic cliffs. Magnificently situated, The Port William Inn nestles into the cliffs overlooking the dramatic Trebarwith Strand on the North Cornwall coast. When out, the tide reveals a mile of golden sand which can be viewed from the bar, the conservatory dining area and from the inn's eight luxurious en suite hotel bedrooms. Once you have visited we are sure you will agree there is no other inn in Cornwall with a location to match that of the Port William. You are also welcome to enjoy the inn's excellent food and drink from the bar and restaurant, while enjoying the superb views from our outside terrace. The Port William lies on the famous Cornwall coast path and is a very popular stop off point for walkers. Trebarwith Strand also offers a surf school and has Life Guards during the summer months. A short drive takes you to local golf courses and tennis courts while the world famous Tintagel Castle and Island are just a short walk along the coast path.
