We ate here in the first week of April, 4 adults, 2 children & our pet dog, whilst visiting Tintagel Castle with the family. What a super little cafe this is, the presentation of the food is just fantastic & really tastes as good as the presentation. We really wasn't expecting the presentation & many boutique restaurants could take a... More
Great food and great selection of vegetarian dishes. The cream tea was one of the best I've had . The staff really make this place and are very welcoming and friendly. The only disappointing thing was that they shut quite early and we couldn't eat dinner here too. The best place that we ate at whilst at Tintagel.
We were a group of 11 with some of us needing gluten free, Charlie's catered for all .the food was delicious all 3 generations well cared for. Soused herring salad perfect the variety of burgers with gluten free rolls where necessary very tasty. We even took away scones and cream for our afternoon tea as all too full for pudding.... More
I ate at Charlie's today with my partner after a late arrival in Cornwall. I had the meat burger with bacon and cheese which was exceptional quality, the burger was cooked lovely. A chef that has talent and passion and floor staff with a smile. Highly recommend this place if you are passing. We had no room for desert so... More
I called in with a friend on a whim and am pleased I did. I had the nicest cream tea I have had for years. The scones were served warm and were really full of flavour with a delightful "crunch", the jam was very tasty and, to the most important bit, the Cornish Clotted Cream was absolutely fresh and delicious.... Popped in for drinks and a cake and we had a really lucky find with this place. Lovely welcoming staff and good quality food and drinks were on offer. Other meals we saw being served looked very appetising and decent sized portions. Very nice old fashioned setting and there is also a deli type shop inside selling some local foods... More
Spot on! Great staff, service and food. Popped in here when visiting Tintagel and was very pleased indeed. There were four of us all with very different tastes which the menu catered for easily. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the Vegetable Burger, one of the best I've had out and about.
