No visit to the village is complete without one of their pasties, sure it's me being a cynical grumpy old man but they taste better and have more meat in them during the off peak season, either way the staff are very friendly and the...More

When no where else had opened yet the lovely ladies put on some fresh filter coffee for my early 'fix' - and it certainly did wake me up! ...the bread looked very tempting too 😀

After returning from St Anthony’s head via the Place ferry, we thoroughly enjoyed some local hot pasties for lunch, and very nice they were too. Great place to drop into and enjoy overlooking the quay.

Just perfect. Does what it says on the tin. May suprise many but so much better than overpriced, pretentious establishments. Do not expect airs and graces. Wipe the seat down, drink in the atmosphere and munch on fresh pasty, bacon buttie, saffron bun.... the list...More

The contents of our two pasties were not mixed properly. The meat was all together in a coagulated lump and the rest was of course just veg. Possibly it would have been good otherwise. The pastry as such was good. There are lots of other...More

My title says it all. Simply the best Cornish Pasty we have ever tasted and I have been holidaying in the South West for 60+ years!

Description
St Mawes bakery is a local family owned business. It has been running for over 100 years now. We take pride in our freshly baked and made products including our delicious traditional pasties which are made to a recipe as old as we are. We pride ourselves that we make, bake and serve our products on the same day which are made in St Mawes itself (less than 200 m from our shop).
