Had lunch here today during a visit to St.Ives and today it was excellent, after a not so good review last time I ate here. Today everything was back on track. The meal and service were excellent.

We had lunch in the Seafood Cafe and it was perfect and very good value for money. fish and chips, moules, fish pie and a burger with drinks all for less than £50. Food was very fresh and tasty and service excellent. Would definitely recommend over the other restaurants on the harbour front where you sometimes pay for the view... More

The Seafood Cafe contributed to a lovely evening out with friends. We were in the downstairs room and had a table that the 6 of us could sit around comfortably. The decor was pleasing. The staff were efficient and friendly. Most of all we were very pleased with the food we were served, over all 3 courses. The only complaint... More

For a seafood restaurant I was hoping for more from the Seafood Cafe. I really enjoyed the salt and pepper squid - it was well cooked and nicely spiced. It also came with a nice dip. The tiger prawns I had were fairly good, with plenty of garlic, but didn't really light any fires of excitement. My friend had a... More

Popped in here on a windy afternoon. It was early lunchtime and quiet. Friendly staff welcomed us and we took a window seat. Everything on the menu looked fabulous. My sister and I shared a side of olives and bread and oil to start. The olives were amazing and delicious and the bread was wonderfully fresh. We both ordered halloumi... More

The Seafood Cafe has always been a must visit restaurant for us and has always provided first class service and food. On this occasion the service was excellent but the food was not quite up to their usual very high standards. Usually the fish and meats are displayed so well you can see how fresh it all is. On this... More

We were surprised that we needed to book a table out of season at restaurants, so ended up at The Seafood Cafe. What a stroke of luck they had a table free. The food was amazing, there was a nice relaxed buzz and the staff were friendly. The children were impressed with seeing the fresh fish before it was cooked.... More

Enjoyed the food. The sardines for a starter were delicious and great choice of fish for mains. Found the fact you had to get up and order at the blackboard a bit odd, they could quite easily list the available fish and take the order from the table however the service was good so it obviously works OK.

Very busy establishment, both had prawn starters, which were excellent, followed by delicious sirloin steaks with port and stilton sauce.

The Café is clearly very popular, even in January, and rightly so. The fish was fresh and varied and the chance to create your own meal was a great idea
