Anywhere that has wonderful ciders and rum in this lovely Cornish scenery, plus friendly staff is a winner with me. Just remember to bring cash as there is a small charge for cards.

Still holds the crown of the best pub in the village. Friendly staff, good beer and great food. Worth waiting for a table.

One of the more well-known pubs in Polperro, with a great, friendly atmosphere. Very good food, with daily specials always including fresh local fish. Good beer and decent wine list.

This is awful to suggest the crab meat is from a jar, this obviously shows your inadequacy to notice good food when it's put in front of you. Keep doing what you are doing blue Peter. I'd also love to know if you saw what surrounded you...... Yes that was a harbour.

The suggestion of crab meat from a tin was posted by Neilance. An ignorant Jock!

Why do you assume that the crab meat was out of a tin? The pub prides itself on its fresh food, especially the fish, which comes straight off of the quay in the morning, comments like this should be kept off of trip advisor, there was no need for your cruel assumption. I have eaten here many times and believe me if they don't have the stock they will tell you and offer you another choice, items are forever being wiped from the menu boards as the lunch/dinner session progresses. This pub does not need to rely on tinned goods. Most of the locals are...Fishermen!
