found this pub on a wet Monday evening in Penzance and had a warm welcome from the two young women serving at the bar. A limited menu but a much more interesting choice than the usual 'pub grub'. I had 2 starters instead one main...More

It is a typical pub but the food isn't! We where surprised by quality and presentation! What ever you expect in a pub, in the Navy Inn, it is much more! Friday night = steak night but go for the steak on the menu! I...More

Last year at easter they were brilliant, this year they were nothing special, average. Big disappointment. Fries tasted too oily and the atmosphere were cold and not as friendly as last years. Last year we praised the pub but this year it was average...

Comfortable dining pub. Fish naturally appears on the menu but the Chicken was exceptional. Steak nights on a Friday are worth trying. Sunday lunch especially so. Popular despite being away from the sea front. A sign is always on the pavement to attract customers- worth...More

We came to this place 5 years ago on our holiday and had fond memories of some wonderful seafood and great cooking. We returned this week and were equally pleased with what we found. The menu is smaller, but the quality of produce and cooking...More

We stumbled into this pub on Easter weekend, driven by hunger and lack of surrounding options. The decor and atmosphere is unassuming, though there are plenty of antiquities on the wall to occupy time. The prices on the menu may seem too expensive for standard...More

Sports pub, locals, even if you don't like sport still worth going in for the food. Had the fish n chips for lunch, real fresh, & proper chips not out a freezer bag! All other food looked good too.

We were warmly welcomed to this local pub, which is just off the promenade. We ordered the Friday night special - 2 rump steaks, with all the trimmings and a bottle of wine - all for £30. The steak was beautifully cooked, just as we...More

A wonderful pub, such friendly staff and the roast beef was cooked to perfection and presented so well, more than you expect from a pub. Also the whole place was spotlessly clean. A must visit, we will most certainly be returning to also try out...More

We ate at the Navy Inn twice during our stay in Penzance. Both meals were very good. Fresh seafood and tradition Cornish cooking. Service was great and friendly.
