Quite literally the best meal of our holiday. This tucked away little tearoom is an absolute gem. The view whilst we ate lunch of the hills was breathtaking. There was plenty of variety on the menu to cater for all tastes, including our two children. You could taste the freshness and it all just oozed deliciousness!! Just a short walk... More

Discovered the gem on a walk to St mawgan, it was closed when we passed so returned the next day for my first ever cream tea. Excellent. If you are nearby pay them a visit.

We passed by this establishment last year and it was not open. We saw a poster this year saying that it was now open, and determined to visit it on our walk with our spaniel. It was deserted when we arrived, but there were many signs out showing all sorts of scrumptious possibilities. We rang the bell, and very swiftly... More

We stopped off for a coffee here after a walk from the nearby village. We were the only people there, and it was wonderfully peaceful. The owner was really friendly, the coffee was great, and the view was stunning. A lovely place to enjoy the sun, and a drink.

Stopped here last year (june) on a walk from Mawgan Porth and had the most amazing cream tea. . Were disappointed to find it is temporarilly closed at the moment. The owner Tony says it should reopen in July. In the mean time, stop to get the best free range eggs you'll ever taste, and I really mean ever taste.... More

Having read the other reviews we just had to visit and weren't dissapointed! We took a short walk from the beach along the footpath from the beach; about 20mins; and found the tea garden on the footpath just over the first tarmac road. The views from the garden are really stunning. We had tea's coffees and baguettes. The portions were... More

We were really surprised by this hidden gem in North Cornwall. We were walking the Coastal Path and detoured from Mawgan Porth towards St Mawgan. Just passed the holiday park we came across a discrete sign stating Tea Garden Open. From previous experience in the area we were not expecting much in the way of quality but were thirsty so... Menalhyl Tea Garden is slightly out of the way on the road between Mawgan Porth and the village of St. Mawgan. It can also be reached by a very pleasant footpath running down to the coast from the village. The garden looks out over the Menalhyl valley. We discovered the place by accident and were bowled over by the quality... More
