Visited this evening, staff very attentive. Didn't book a table, seated straight away but was 5.30pm. Lovely food that you don't mind paying a little more for. Not a big eating area. Would highly recommend.

My pal and I had dinner here on Saturday evening. My duck breast was delicious and I gather the pork belly great too. The food was beautiful presented. The puddings were almost too beautiful to eat - but we managed somehow. Cheerful and attentive service. Pretty garden too. A lovely experience, thank you.

While staying the the village of Quintrell Downs, popped in for dinner. Starters were lovely and main courses well presented and a good size. Prices are a tad expensive but would definitely return. Service was excellent and garden is a great setting for praise dining.

We had a lovely family meal here during our holiday. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. I can't fault the actual food - it was tasty and well- presented, however we felt the children's meals were a bit disappointing and the overall bill was expensive. Even so, we would definitely return and recommend it highly for adults/couples.

Visited when on holiday and something of a mixed bag from our party of 4. Starters were pretty good and service was also decent. Of the mains I ordered steak which I thoroughly enjoyed, but the other 3 in the party were not so impressed. 2 had fish n chips, and while they said it was nice, both said the... More

Visited twice while on our annual trip to Newquay once for Sunday lunch (booked ahead) see photo for the monster Yorkshire puddings and then midday on a Friday both times the food was outstanding and the owners know all about customer service and made us feel like locals not holiday makers , be back next year

The restaurant was nearly full but they found us a table and we were served very quickly by very friendly and efficient staff. The food was very well presented and fresh. We would recommend to anyone - there were many locals eating as well as tourists and can see that it will be very popular at busier times.

We had read great reviews about this place so expected a lot, and were to an extent disappointed. The food was very good. My steak was excellent, my partner's fish also very good but the plate was too small for the fish, vegetables etc. making manoeuvring the bones very awkward. The interior was attractive but not really clean - cobwebs... More

We were staying down the road at the Premier inn. We had a short break 3 nights, we like to eat out and try different places, but due to the excellent menu we ate here every night, had a different meal and every meal was first class. Excellent value for money. The staff were all very friendly, and service was excellent.... More

Food was average at best and fairly pricey, fussy menu with most of the things that I would of liked had sold out. Trying to be a bit cheffy without the skills of a chef
