Visited today for Sunday lunch today, our second trip here and although no beautiful sunsets this time (last time was dinner in the summer - stunning view!) it was super welcoming, cosy and friendly as always. The food was excellent, my partner said best roast he's ever had and had me laughing saying my grandad with no teeth could have... More

Firstly, we were not aware of the steps down to this restaurant, it was bucketing down with rain, very windy and dark.. we thought well the food better be worth it - OH my, it really was!! Although it was dark we couldn't admire the view of the beach but the place is beautiful. The food was just lovely too!!... More

Delicious food served in a beautiful room with a great band playing in the adjoining room, not too loudly and with a harp - which they must have had to carry down all those steps! We had a lovely evening lounging by the fire after dinner.

Ended a long windswept beach walk here ,welcomed by logburning stoves (November) ,good menu and friendly staff . Views that are hypnotic and a reasonably priced wine list .Watch the tide times if you don't fancy the steep hundred or so steps up from the beach ........

Wonderful place. Lovely food. Great service. If ever in Cornwall well worth a visit. Lovely beach dog friendly and roaring fires makes you just want to say all day.

Great restaurant at the base of the cliffs. They have decorated the restaurant really well and it's very welcoming. Menu was relatively small but we had 7 all with different tastes and found something for everyone. The beef dish was great. Be careful to pay for parking as we got a ticket! Our mistake

We stay near this restaurant when in Cornwall and love to pay them a visit for a meal or just drinks. The setting is idyllic and well worth the climb down the steps. Coming back up is a bit harder!! It is the most beautiful place with great food (and hot chocolates!) The menu is great (love the hot stones)... More

The beach and location is amazing we spent hours exploring the beach and caves. The staff were so welcoming and friendly we didn't want to leave, the breakfast was lovely and filled us up all day.... My fiancé booked my birthday meal here and it was wonderful! We both had hot rock steak which was lovely (although both of us felt that fillet would work better than sirloin), the staff were attentive, and they had my favourite sweet treat which is impossible to find in shops/restaurants - orange sorbet! There was also live music from a... More

Lusty Glaze Tripadvisor Beautiful brunches, leisurely lunches, cosy coffees and seaside suppers... Lusty Glaze Beach Restaurant is nestled just a short walk from the centre of Newquay, on the North Cornish coast. Come rain or shine Lusty Glaze serves up freshly cooked and locally-sourced culinary delights in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With a beautiful menu specially created for each season, as well as some rather tasty specials and the ever popular Hot Rocks, this beachfront dinning experience is not to be missed. On a warm evening, it's easy to forget you're still in Cornwall! As well as hosting weddings and our legendary Headliner Sessions, we also hold a free live music evenings featuring some of our favourite local artists. Spanning a range of different genres, these nights are always special, as everyone relaxes and unwinds, glass of wine in hand, soaking up the atmosphere. And even with a focus on top-notch food, it is still very likely that your chairs won't match, your spoon and fork may be different patterns and your waiter will be wearing flip flops... after all, we are still the laid back family-friendly restaurant that we always have been!
