The cafe seems to be renamed Harbour. Their cream tea was lovely - a bit more expensive than some of the other tea shops in Mousehole but for £5.55 one got 2 scones each (beautifully light and tasty) and generous amounts of jam and clotted cream plus a pot of tea. In some respects the location isn't ideal , being... More

We spent an amazing day in lovely Mousehole and had the misfortune to choose this place for a cream tea. My advice would be don't bother and move on to other much lovelier, welcoming places as this is NOT one of them. Weird inappropriate prog rock music playing in the background. A miserable bloke in fatigues at the counter, who... More

We had a coffee and cappucino there on a lovely sunny July day. Everything was fine but we had to go inside and place our order ourselves to be served later. We liked the furniture they had outside - nice tables and chairs. I´m a bit surprised by all these negative comments because we were satisfied, but, on the other... More

My wife and I just stopped here for a quick cream tea, I had coffee with mine, I can honestly say all came fine and well presented and we were very happy with the service.

Visited this cafe last Sunday for a late lunch for four of us. After sitting at a table I approached the owner and asked very politely for a glass of tap water, explaining that we were about to order meals but that I was incredibly parched and required a drink first. I was told that they did not serve tap... More

Poor service from owner, served by children, worse cream tea in Cornwall. Left for rock pool cafe 5/5 star - recommend to wait for a table over this.

Had lunch here with my wife. I had nachos with chili and cheese. The wife had caeser chicken and bacon sandwiches with wedges. Both looked appetising and there were 2 empty plates when we had finished. Food was lovely. Decor is lovely. Service was ok. The toilets were small but clean but the hand towel was filthy. Smelled like it... More

Had eaten less than half a highly overpriced crab salad when a caterpillar was found. Took it inside where I asked for it to be changed for a crab sandwich as I did not trust the greenery only to be told that as I had eaten some help would be happy to wash it for me!!! I pointed out that... More

We visited here on 19th July as we wanted a crab salad and it was near to the harbour as I have mobility problems. We sat outside on a hot day [ not many parasols out] and waited. When nobody came to serve us my husband went inside and we ordered 4 crab salads. I was told I could not... More

My wife and I had lunch here whilst visiting Mousehole. We had a pizza and jacket potato. This was served cold and with a sprig of salad. Most of which was all overpriced and looking to exploit the unsuspecting traveller. Wont be returning!
