Currently October 2015 this establishment is closed. If any brave entrepreneur wants to take on a decent bar then this could be ideal. In the summer the beer garden is THE best in Chester... The sun goes down along the canal.

How can this place be getting reviews when it's been closed for about 6 - 8 months. In theory it should have done well feeding off Harkers, but it never committed to a good range of beers and the staff attitude was poor.

This is a really great place to stop and have a quiet drink outside if the weather is good. Right by the canal so away from the madness Would highly recommend for a drink not to sure about the food though!!

Great pub by the canal, good beer and does what looked like great meals, bet this place is great in the warmer weather being able to sit outside

Nice bar on the side of the canal. Friendly service, nice food. The prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit !!!!

Anyone trying to go there .....do not bother......It seems to have closed. When it was open it was never really busy anyway, it had a awful interior but quite a nice beer "garden" or should I say "paved area"....... Chester will not miss its closing.
