The Mad Hatter is a lovely place. There is a lovely menu choice and the interior is quirky and very attractive. It was reasonably priced and you can pick up a few cute gifts too. Service was good too.

Delightful tea room in The Rows, first floor. The name drew us in, but the unmatched crockery, the display of clocks out of sync (except for one that showed the correct time!) and the decor kept us interested. My choice was Olive Tea (excellent) and...More

Enjoyed a very nice lunch with tea with our children when visiting family in Chester. We all enjoyed the welsh rarebit and a cup of tea - simple and delicious, as well as very attentive service. Cute tea and kitchen accessories available as well.

A group of 30 of us booked afternoon tea. The tables were nicely laid out. The waitress couldn't have been more helpful, but it was mainly her, without help, so she was going backwards and forwards for us all. She explained that there was difficulty...More

We booked as we were a large party but smaller groups and couples just walked in I think! Call them as they are very accommodating.
