Good central location near the Cathedral and indoor Market. Not a great selection of beers and only one real ale. Ok pub food.

We called here for lunch and took advantage of the offer of 2 main meals for £10. Three of us had the all day breakfast and the other member of our party had the chicken stack. The food was hot and not bad for pub grub, although the chicken was a little dry. The service was friendly and we did... More

My son and I popped in today for a bite to eat. I wasn't drinking alcohol because I was the driver but my son was really pleased with the pump beers offered. The food menu isn't the most extensive but it is very good value for money. The main meals are 2 for £10. My son chose the 5oz steak... More

This pub is small and hard to move around in. You order your food at the bar. The bring your food to you, but it is hard to move through the bar if anything is going on in town at the time. The service was mediocre at best. I ordered fish and chips and an ale. The fish was very... More

The Dublin Packet Pub is an old favourite haunt of my twin brother Stephen and I,we always pay it a visit as it's such a warm welcoming pub. The pub itself is really nice,a long narrow interior with good furnishings and great decor and plenty of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto to the majestic Town Hall... More

This pub is in the centre of Chester, near the town hall, but sadly it's fell into a state of disrepair and is in much need of a freshen up. Legend has it that Everton great Dixie dean once ran this pub and there is a little corner of the pub which still recognises this... We went there in a... More

Nice cosy pub decent beer, why is that rag of a paper The S-n in the newspaper rack, this is offensive to some people in this area, please remove it, there are many other papers that are available & not offensive. When we were there only one member of staff behind the bar serving drinks & taking orders for food.
