Decided to have breakfast before going to the Races as we were staying in the Travel Lodge next door . Really lovely choice and one of the best full breakfasts I've ever had . All four of us had different things and we were all impressed. Also the staff are friendly and very helpful. Would definitely go again.

I visited on Saturday and my overall first impression were: impressed. I have been to other pitcher and piano's and this one did not fail to impress me, the best one listed by far! I was served by a young girl who told me her name was Molly and she made us feel so welcome! I could not fault her... More

I came here with my friend for drinks to celebrate me getting married soon. We got talking and we ended up ordering starters to eat. I had the clamari which tasted fresh and delicious. My friend had the macaroni and cheese which was even more tasty. All respect goes to the chef who made these comfort foods so delicious. The... More

Our waitress, a young girl named chloe was very friendly and helpful in serving us with our food and drinks! Going out for a friendly catch up, Chloe made our experience both welcoming and enjoyable. The food was also nice and the deals which they did on 3 small dishes and a bottle of wine for a certain amount was... More

Located opposite the Roman Amplitheatre, this quaint little bar could almost be forgotten about, but we are glad we didn't. Immaculate decor inside, easy access for disabled/trolleys, friendly and helpful staff. Food was delivered in a reasonable time considering the custom. We went for the '3 little plates for £14' offer. (Meatballs, chilli chicken and sausages - seeing as you... More

I have been to the Pitcher and piano many times and eaten there too but when myself and the girlfriend met with friends the other week I was a little disappointed. I found the atmosphere good, and the service good but was a little unimpressed with the food. I cannot speak for the rest of the group but I was... More
