I guess it pretty much depends on what time you come here. We came in at 7 o'clock and although the bar was pleasant enough the whole ambience of the place was that of restaurant as opposed to pub, and the focus of the staff was likewise. You almost feel like a nuisance if you just want a pint. Fortunately... More

We went for family members birthday, staff and service were brilliant and accomodating, food was nice, i did wish i'd picked the pizza though instead of the 'steak' burger. There was an error where they put another tables bill on to ours as well , which added an extra £50 to our bill! Luckily WE spotted this. The place was... More

Good friendly pub. Lots of drinks choice. Did not eat, only visiting as meeting a friend for a catch up. Ideal venue to meet friends.

The fish and chips were spot on and even better with the 40% off weds deal. Desserts were delicious although the ice cream was served in the worlds smallest serving bowl 😂😂. Great value for... More

Very good service and food at this pub. It has a good varied menu and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being in your face.

Went on a Sunday for lunch. Waiting staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive; couldn't have helped us more. Food was great. Very tasty. Drank some of the great gin's they had available there too, so much so the manager gave us all a fantastic gin glass on the house. Really wonderful day out and would highly recommend.

We visited The Faulkner on a Saturday evening as a party of 6 and soon found it to be a very popular venue. We were visiting Hoole and looking for somewhere for an early evening meal, and we were very pleased that this turned out to be the right choice. We were quickly made welcome and after making our selections... More

We was looking for somewhere near to have some late lunch, come across this pub. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Looking feeling to the pub too. Food very nice and value for money. I would recommend this pub for a visit. 👍
