It's nice to support an independent coffee shop & the coffee is good. We ordered cappuccinos which were delivered to the table promptly but were served in a mug and with a take-away wooden server which just felt a bit cheap. The decor is quite dark which is not to my taste but I guess others might find it cosy.... More

Great coffee, relaxed atmosphere, better than the chain store coffee houses. Lots of reading material and comfy places to sit

We eat here often for lunch, good honest food served with a smile. Always a friendly local atmosphere.

Stopped for a quick cuppa at the weekend, it's right on the Main Street in Hoole shops. There are a few tables out back but they are directly on a car park and it seems a bit of an odd place to want to sit, so we stayed inside. The teapots have to get the prize for smallest teapots ever!

In the middle of Faulkner Street in the busy suburb of Hoole. Good little cafe suitable for everyone. Good service and a great value breakfast which aided recovery from the beer the night before.

I'm a regular at this cafe for reason - the food is consistently good, especially the salads and baked potatoes (if you feel like treating yourself you must have one of the waffle desserts - my favourite is the chocolate one). The team as Cafe.com are always helpful and friendly, what more can you ask for. Recommended.

Called in for lunch, and ordered a panini each; I chose the pesto and mozzarella, whilst my wife had the chilli chicken. Mine was quite pleasant, served with a few 'dorito' style crisps and some coleslaw. My wife's chicken panini was at best lukewarm, which I always find a bit disconcerting - wondering whether cooked chicken has been thoroughly reheated.... More

So, first comment - for a cafe that is named .com, the fact they don't take cards seems a bit contradictory. It is very inconvenient not to offer card services. The food is okay, the veggie breakfast is very good, but the baguettes are a bit measly.

Had time to kill waiting for a tyre replacement close by. Popped in, hadn't been here for ages. An informal relaxed setting much like some coffee establishments in some ways (they probably wouldn't thank me for the comparison!) OMG the brie, bacon and red relish (forgot what it was called) panini was simply historic! came with coleslaw, salad and taco... More
