Lively atmosphere, very friendly bar staff. Dog friendly, child friendly. new owner done a lot with the place in a short time. Can only see this place getting better. No food currently but they do have hot sausage rolls and the steak pie was lovely.

Totally hilarious fun on new year in this place. Good fun atmosphere. Live music was top notch and Hugo the dog is adorable!

Always plenty of chat and laughs but also enough time to have a quiet drink on your own, as a couple on a walk through Handbridge or in a group. Caters to all and lots going on through the week.

Friendly service, brilliant real ales, nice traditional decor. A few years ago it was redecorated in wine bar style, but has now, happily regained its traditional wood interior fittings. A good old fashioned local pub and well worth popping into if you are in the...More

Bar maid confirmed last night that they are no longer serving food. Apparently may start again in the future. Looked like an ok local boozer
