We can't afford to STAY at Oddfellows - well, just the once - but we like to EAT there when we visit Chester. (And incidentally, we've never had a bad meal or experience.) We're just back from a 5th or 6th good meal. Good food, good service, decent prices. I had lamb, cooked NON-pink, as requested, but still tender; and... More

This is a must to go into Sally's shop and see her amazing array of stuff to sell and also you can chill out at the back of the shop, where you can sit alfresco and sip a cuppa tea of coffee.

My husband and I ate here as part of our stay at the hotel. The restaurant is located in a glass building that falls within the court yard and is surrounded by the garden bar. We managed three courses each (I had a little help) and weren't disappointed. The chicken was a particular hit for me...all too often chicken is... More

This really is a secret garden at the back of Oddfellows. Several booths and open plan tables in a man made garden. My friends and I went on a weekday and there was a very reasonable set menu. Two or three courses. We all had different dishes and all were happy. Chicken with purple potatoes was the favourite main course.... More

Got there and were seated on a high table even though we had a young child with us. Waited for a while for menus in which nothing was explained to us when we got them. They bought proscecco over and didn't give us a choice of drinks that were on the menu. We asked to be moved to a lower table... More

I did enjoy this restaurant, we went for afternoon tea here as part of a hen party. We did enjoy the food it was lovely. The scones were to die for, just thought it was overpriced for what it was. We were served by two lovely girls who couldn't do enough for us.

We ate here the first Saturday in July during a celebration trip to Chester. Our party of eight ordered starters and main courses. Some were tastier than others. The Chef does seem to know how to cook fish properly though as the dish I ordered was crispy skin on the top and falling to bits underneath. The staff were helpful... More

We were a guest at the hotel and booked a meal in the restaurant. The service was great and the menu was really very original. It was great to find unusual things in the menu that you have not tried previously. The ambiance was nice in that he outdoor area was also busy and it was great for people watching.... More

The food was gorgeous and the cocktails were fab! There was a set menu and an A La Carte menu... food was sampled from both and they were exceptional
