We have a dwindling number of Michelin starred restaurants in the north west and Simon Radley is one of just five. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when Michelin reveals its 2016 rankings in a little while. But, in the meantime, it’s a matter...More

My wife and I visited Simon Radley at Chester Grosvenor when celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary recently. Having eaten at a number of modern style Michelin starred restaurants over the last few years, the Grosvenor offered a rather different proposition, as it’s a little bit...More

A fabulous experience. Afternoon tea as it should be. Delicious finger sandwiches, assorted filling all perfect. Scones just the right size with beautiful, fruity jam, and clotted cream. Gorgeous cakes to die for a couple with slithers of edible cold. You could have more sandwiches...More

Indulgence afternoon tea was very nice with a good selection of sandwiches which were topped up. The fancies were really delicious. I don't really like cakes and deserts in a restaurant as they are usually overloaded with sugar and flavourings but the ones served with...More

From arriving and the car being taken away, to the super room and wonderful tasting dinner, breakfast and departure, this was an excellent experience. Will certainly return and recommend to our friends.

Hi there, The tasting menu wine flight is priced at £49.50 or bottles on the list start at approximately £28. There is also a great choice of wines by the glass or carafe.

Description
Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, has held a Michelin star for nineteen years running surely a record outside of London. Under the direction of Executive Chef Simon Radley the exceptional modern British menu changes seasonally and uses only the finest ingredients. The cellar is also renowned, having one thousand bins and a sommelier of prodigious knowledge. The dining room itself is as dashing as you would expect with comfy chairs, oriental carpets, fine woods, original artwork, ebony pillars and many-layered tones of gold and taupe. The service is distinguished by its warmth and professionalism. Top marks.
