My mum likes a carvery so we thought this would be worth a try for her 90th birthday. We were a party of 15 adults and 4 children. Happy to say that this was the perfect venue for us. The quality of the food was excellent, very fresh and hot, and better than many others we've tried in the area.... More

We called in for a light lunch and were shown to a table. We ordered two soups and waited....and waited....and waited. After 20 minutes, we were about to walk out when the 'soup' arrived. We had ordered broccoli and stilton. What arrived looked like dishwater....no broccoli or stilton to see or taste....and it was barely lukewarm. The 'bread' that came... More

Was really disappointed to visit here yesterday with my husband. When we walked in we were told there was a 30 min delay on food, we'd driven from Stoke so decided to wait. I was baffled as the place was dead, it became obvious (whilst waiting to be served at the bar) they were extremely understaffed. After 40 minutes and... More

Nine of us had our family post-Christmas meal here yesterday (27 December). It was delicious. Plenty of meat, obviously freshly cooked, good selection of veg, potatoes etc. Lovely starters and desserts too (Festive Menu). Will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely lovely Christmas dinner, attended with a large family and the waiter (dressed as a Christmas present with a Christmas tree hat) was absolutely fabulous, taking time to check on us, offer more drinks and even just have a chat with us. Food was lovely, nice atmosphere and wasn't disappointed at all ☺️ will definitely return!

We came here after visiting Chester zoo, as we have done a few times before. Service was slow, despite not many people being there on a weekday, I've been served quicker when it's been absolutely rammed. When getting the Carvery, we were given a measly wafer thin slice and a half of meat each?! As did the family before us...... More

Toby Carvery Hoole Village need to teach their waitresses some manners, we walked in to be blatantly ignored by a dark haired waitress, and walked straight back out again. Shame as we have previously had nice meals here - really disappointed.

Went to this venue for the first time on a very busy Sunday 18th December with 7 other members of the family, we were all plesently surprised with the service. We had slight wait for our table about 15 mins however we got seated and joined a short queue for the carvery. The meat selection was very good no problems,... More

Description
Welcome to the Toby Carvery Hoole Village. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings - including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Chester's favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.
