There are not many places around do such a good mille feulle. Tasteful, yet not over bearing, sizeable yet not to big. Good coffee and tea as well. Absolute recommendation.

My husband and I love to go for the breakfast on Sunday's. And needless to say, the coffee and pastries are divine.

This was a birthday present from my daughter. We had a lovely time the staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely sandwiches and cakes too many so they put some in a nice box to take home for later. Love to go again at some point.

Waited by the sign to be seated without being acknowledged for several minutes. Shown to table. Lots of lovely cakes on the menu and an inviting statement about gluten feee products now being available. Me: what gluten free cakes do you have? Waiter: I'll check Waiter: (a few minutes later). We only have ginger biscuits Me: no thanks! We ordered... More

We were looking for a place offering afternoon tea, we arrived close to closing time but we were welcome to stay. The waitress attended us with no rush and made great suggestions to us. The food was very good. I will definitely return.

We visited here for lunch and we were not disappointed. We had the afternoon tea for two (£25) and found it excellent value for money. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches with free refills on tea or coffee. Also an ample selection of jams and lots of clotted cream. service was first rate- quick and attentive.

Half the sign has fallen off the outside and that should have been a warning . Watered down cranberry juice ,I could go on. I used to like this chain -I've just sacked them .

We really enjoy our coffee, the coffee here is pretty good and the selection of patisserie, cakes and delicious treats is amazing. The cafe gets very busy and unfortunately the service does suffer.

We visited Patisserie Valerie today. On arrival it was busy and the atmosphere was pretty chaotic and shambolic. We were eventually seated but then had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to take our order: two apple juices, a croissant and an eclair. This simple order took another endlessly frustrating amount of time to arrive. I was tempted... More

PV is the same everywhere. This one is very busy nearly all the time. The food and drinks are always very nice, but we found the tables a bit sticky and the service hit and miss if you eat in.
