Visited for afternoon tea (Voucher used/xmas present). Staff friendly and efficient, tea and cakes were very nice, but I considered a little expensive in my view, taking into account the 'tired' surroundings in this Bridge Street establishment. This eatery needs decorating throughout, disappointed.

Never been before mixed reviews her but for us it was excellent. Lovely staff great cakes, sandwiches and scones. We had a voucher for two which with just an extra £1 allowed us to take home 4 huge cakes! Marvellous. Lovely server too.
PV used to be an upmarket, rather exclusive brand. Now it seems its franchisees just milk the name, whilst HQ exerts no scrutiny or else doesn't care. Certainly this branch in Cambridge trades on a first class site and a window full of attractive(ish) patisseries....More
