Popped in for a quick drink. Lovely building, beer good and lots of students in chatting and putting the world to right. Really nice atmosphere

Went for breakfast with friends. Very good value breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee with a traditional breakfast. The disappointment was the food although nicely cooked was lukewarm and there wasn't anyone at the bar to bring this to their attention. We were the only group in there. The disappointment to me was they didn't serve decaffeinated coffee.

Popped in here at the weekend to see the graffiti ceiling. Pub was packed and it was hard to get a seat. Found our way through the main bar across the internal courtyard with outside bar in full swing and into the RAF bar. There was the ceiling which was quite awesome to look at. We had a round of... This is a pub, that is why you don't come here for the food necessarily, but it is always corwded and gives therefore a great atmosphere. You learn that it is a haunted pub with lots of history especially in the RAF bar with world war 2 graffitti on the ceiling. Here also some scientists talked for the first time... More

So good is pretty good pub food and we dropped in for lunch during Christmas shopping. It was fine but we've been here before and it's the history you'll remember. From the RAF bar where aircrew left their mark (literally) to the spot where the discovery of the structure of DNA was announced. A must visit if you come to... More

Drank a pint in the RAF Bar - just part of the overall pub. As a former RCAF pilot, I was interested in the squadron "zappers" - the little stickers (some big stickers) air force pilots carry around with them to stick in the most likely (and unlikely) places. Delighted to see the RCAF Snowbirds were easy to find. I... More

I took my American bosses here which is really the only purpose for going. The beer is OK and there are plenty of better places within walking distance. The place was packed with tourists with two particularly large group of Chinese seated at the time. Go once to check out the rear ww2 bar etc but otherwise pick other pubs... More

The Eagle is a good pub with good food and beer. The downside is that it is in every guide book and often rammed with tourists. It's certainly worth a quick look see for the history alone.

Good food at a reasonable price served efficiently by overstretched staff. Busy. We were in the RAF bar. A bit chilly.

This is a great pub and a must visit in Cambridge. The RAF bar has a lot of history from WWII, where pilots wrote on the ceiling with lighters. Watson and Crick who discovered DNA frequented The Eagle as well and there is often DNA themed beer on tap. Have been here many times and food and drink are always... More
