Syd Barratt the founder member of Pink Floyd used to come and frequent the Anchor and we understand that they created the group here. Syd obviously had good taste indeed and we are proud to be part of the history of the band.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Is made even better by the incredible view of the river. Would recommend sitting at the bar stools looking over the river!
