Went to the plough for a quick Tuesday lunch. Very slow kitchen service! 45 minutes to wait for 4 average burgers. Don't waste your time or money.

We chose to dine at The Plough on the basis that it was cheap, cheerful and within walking distance but we wish we’d never bothered. When we ordered, we were informed that there was a 30 minute wait for food which my partner and I...More

Visited as two family couples midweek for dinner. It was ok, nothing special, food was alright. Biggest negative for me is the 'gorgeous girls' 'brilliant boys' toilet signs. Subtle sexism at its finest!

Easy review to write. You get what you pay for and for the money I got served by polite and pleasant staff and our dinners(sunday dinner) was served hot and quickly. The pub is also warm and comfortable. So, no complaints from me

Great food, manager is a an idiot. Twice in the past we have booked online after trying to book a table over the phone. No one answers! On every occasion when we have told them we have a reservation, the manager has told us we...More

Whilst I can appreciate the frustration in relation to booking our Xmas Fayre menu, I simply have no recollection of ever dealing with you??? Possibly one of my assistants maybe? I'm Carl, The General Manager...I'm no idiot, but I'm struggling to find why you think...More
