We chose this restaurant for a quick lunch but weren't very impressed. Sticky tables and menus not pleasant. The menus were full of graphics and not very clear to read. The meals took a while to arrive and were absolutely huge. Door step sandwiches, a pile of limp salad and a mountain of tortilla chips. On the positive side the chilli... More

Wifey & I went out on a date night and after a movie we thought we'd get a bite to eat. We settled on the Honey Bee as we live locally and hadn't been in here for some time. We found a table and looked through the sticky menus whilst leaning on a sticky table. There appeared to be only... More

We live locally & would love this to be a good place to visit, but unfortunately it isn't. We moved in in June 2016 & visited the honeybee & found it a great local with good food & drink, but since then I've visited on numerous occasions at different times ( to check it out) and have been disappointed on... Went here today after a hospital appointment. Was taken to the Honeybee.... The service was alright, staff were hard-working and pleasant. The menu was very crammed.....Too much choice...... Needs to be simplified.... It took all four of us fifteen to twenty minutes to decide at least !....The food was acceptable...And prices were reasonable. But the place had no ambiance....It needs... Place was full mostly families. I was there with a large group of family members. The food served up was so terrible I don't know where to begin. I am shocked to think that any catering operation could serve up crap like this. The Wetherspoon offering is streets ahead. A total rip off I feel very sorry for all their... More

New(ish) menu has a lot of choice, we started with cheese dough balls then I had a Backyard pizza which was very tasty & my wife had a Montreal burger, all of which we enjoyed, along with 2 pints of cider & a fruit juice was just over £30. Service was also good

We visited the honey bee today for a family lunch. There was twelve of us. All the food was well cooked and the steak was tender and juicy. The staff were friendly and attentive. Compared to a recent visit to another similar priced pub in Aylesbury this was a vary pleasant experience and I would definitely come back.

We recently went for our Christmas lunch at The Honey Bee as all other local pubs had booked up. The fact that this place could accommodate us at short notice should have been a warning sign. The food was dreadful - burnt starters, funny tasting main Christmas dinner and very slow service. Embarrassing as it was the works 'do'.

Five of us tried the festive set menu last weekend and it did not disappoint! We weren't expecting much but it came out tops out of all of the festive menus we have tried this year. When you order a set menu you expect the portion sizes to be a bit smaller than normal, but the Honey Bee stayed true... More
