Booked lunch for my Wife and I. We found the service to be good and the staff very friendly and accommodating. My wife enjoyed a very tasty haddock risotto after our waiter's recommendation, but I found my fish and chips adequate in size but not particularly tasty. In addition I sent my beer back as it did not taste as... More

A 12.5% Service charge was included in the bill which I failed to see. Slow service even though restaurant was not busy. Overdone bean burger & chips, dry and limited mezze plate & runny and bland baked eggs. Unclean loos.

I don't write a lot of reviews, and when I do it's almost always for somewhere deserving of praise. However I just couldn't let this one go. Mid-week dinner for three. Starter was an unremarkable but perfectly OK platter of charcuterie. Mains: I had a 6oz rump steak. It was perhaps three and a half ounces if I'm charitable. Of... More

Visited on a Sunday and hadn't made a booking so was pleased they could fit four adults and five children in. We only had an 1 1/2 hours on the table so i was a bit worried if they could get us served and fed quick enough but they did with time to spare. The food was overall very good... More

We booked a table here for an extended-family get together yesterday, for 1pm. We arrived and out table was ready.....minus one chair! It took quite a while (20mins) before anyone came to take drinks orders.....but he got distracted while taking the order and wandered off.....then returned and finished the order. Drinks duly arrived.....then finally we were given a menu......had to... More

We wanted somewhere on the docks with table service for Sunday Lunch, and this was almost perfect. The new brunch menu was tempting, I went for the boiled eggs with rye toast, pea and avocado purée with feta and pea shoot garnish. This was tasty filling and a bit different. The full English that my partner enjoyed was well cooked,... More

We've been to Bordeaux Quay a number of times in the past and it's always been good so it's with a little disappointment that I write this review, but clearly something has changed. We visited on 8th January for lunch. Service was good and fairly swift, the waiting staff all being friendly and helpful. We ordered olives and bread to... More

This is the first (& last) time I have visited this venue & this was within a large group for a friends birthday gathering on a Saturday lunchtime downstairs. First thing is that it would be useful to provide your customers with menus before coming over to ask 'is everyone ready to order' & secondly if you've only got about... More

We often spend a day in Bristol and have eaten here twice before. We really liked it so were looking forward to our lunch today. If I'd reviewed it previously it would have been very positive. The menu was different with a pretty full breakfast menu and a few standard lunch dishes. I went for an all day full English... More
